What is Human Trafficking?

Human Trafficking is the exploitation of vulnerable people through coercion, deceit, manipulation and/ or abuse.  Human trafficking exists across the globe and it is estimated that at least

27 Million people are trafficked worldwide.  Human Trafficking is estimated to be a $150 billion dollar industry that exploits the vulnerable through prostitution, pornography, forced labor, armed services, and migrant farming. 

Fair Trade is viable means to help fight human trafficking by creating and providing healthy wages, work and environments to the worlds poor so they don't become prey to the traffickers.
